Oftentimes we are reminded that God is in control when things don't go as we've planned, but that he is looking out for us in the process. I'm grateful for these times in my life even though sometimes they are hard.
As some of you may know, Clint and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary on December 18. I can't believe already two years have flown by. But even crazier I have known and been with Clint for over six years. That just seems so weird to me. We started dating when I was 16 and he was 15. I thought it would be fun to put up a few random pics from our six years of togetherness.
Where better a place to carve pumpkins than the Mabey's Pumpkin Patch? This is something I look forward to every year! Nothing better than being with my best friends, eating a lot of food, and carving a pumpkin. We had so much fun and I was so happy to hang out with my friends. It's not often that we can all get together so I love it when we can! Here's a few pics from the evening. I think its safe to say that I won "Best Pumpkin" with a giant Jack Sparrow face.
After 4 "quick" weeks of studying all day and class all night and never seeing my cute husband I am proud to say that I am almost(I just have to take the state exam) a Certified Nurse Assistant. It may not be much to some of you but I'm glad I went back to school to get this training. I've always had an interest in health and this was a good way for me to get a little training so I could potentially have a job in a health care setting. I had so much fun in my class and loved my teachers and met some really fun people. I'm kind of sad its over so soon because we were all just getting to know each other and form friendships and now we're done and I probably won't see many of them again. But I'm glad I did it. Now the hard part: finding a job in a hospital where I can work with kid diapers instead of adult diapers;)
this little guy! I was surprisingly really sad to see Mike go. I know he'll be an amazing missionary and bring many people to the Gospel, but it was hard to see him go. Thank Heaven's for the swine flu and the new drop off rule it inforced. It was great being able to say goodbye in the comfort of our family room and didn't have to get our hearts ripped out at the MTC and then say a quick goodbye. Much better done at home. Good luck Little Brother! We love and miss ya! See ya in a quick 2.
I'm glad to know that I'm hideous enough for someone else to blog about me... Click on the link to see what I mean. http://mattandalliemcfarland.blogspot.com/2009/06/lyndsee-on-photo-booth.html
